I am a noodle lover. A noodle lover of all types of cuisines. I also appreciate how well something is made from scratch, specifically doughs. So, when I heard about this place, well Autumn told me about it, we had to check it out. We arrived around 4 pm, so it was relatively slow with few people in the restaurant. We were seated in a booth and started to check out the menu.

There were a few things that looked very interesting, specifically the Takoyaki octopus ball. So of course we had to try that. We also ordered the spicy wonton to start our meal. While we were deciding on the entrees that we would order, we got to watch them making the fresh noodles for a neighboring table’s meal.

We ended up asking what the best dishes were and the waiter recommended the pan-fried sliced noodles with whatever meat choice. So I selected that with chicken. Autumn ordered the beef noodle soup in spicy broth. As the waiter took our order, our appetizers came out.

The octopus balls were something I’ve never had before and have never seen, but they were essentially pieces of octopus in a fried batter with bonito flakes and an unagi sauce and Japanese mayo on the side. When the octopus ball was cut open open, it was slightly creamy from the batter, I was unsure if it wasn’t cooked all of the way or if it was like a Shumai where it had a creamy inside. Either way, it was good and the octopus was tender while the outside of the ball was crispy with lots of flavor.

The spicy wonton was fantastic. The noodle was tender and flavorful with the chili and fresh vegetables on top. It had very different textures with with veg, noodle, meat, and oil. The meat was very tender and delicious. It was a great dish with lots of different flavor notes. I would get this one again for sure.

Our entrees came out while we were still enjoying our appetizers and they were piping hot.

Autumn’s soup had a lot of oil in the dish but it looked like it would have a bunch of flavor. My pan-fried noodles was almost like a fried rice but with noodles, it smelled amazing.

Autumn’s noodle soup wasn’t bad. It did have a lot of fat with it and the noodles had great texture and chew. The broth was rich and flavorful. I would have preferred less fat. The beef was not my favorite though. It was thick and almost had a jerky like feel with a very strong flavor that I wasn’t a fan of. But the noodles and broth were very good.

My pan-fried noodles were fantastic. They had excellent chew, and so much flavor. The peppers and onions were perfectly cooked and added some needed texture. The chicken was very tender and overall, the flavor combination of this dish was great. I would get this again in a heartbeat.

There was so much more on the menu that I want to go back and try. It is a fun place to watch them make your noodles and to try some unique items. As we were getting ready to leave, the traffic had picked up and they were getting busy, which is always a good sign. If you enjoy some great noodles and some quality Asian food, check this place out.
