Cinnamon’s is one of my favorite places to eat breakfast… anywhere. Back in 2014 we were headed to a breakfast place Kellyne had picked and for some reason it didn’t work out and I had to find a replacement. I found Cinnamons and everyone was a bit hangry at the time so the 2 hour wait didn’t help matters. I wandered off to the upstairs area in that shopping center and stumbled upon a chocolate store which had a chocolate tasting tour of sorts and it was fantastic. That was at the Kailua location. Anyways, this location is in Waikiki and it’s attached to a hotel. It’s quite busy but it’s also very quick with the service and food.

We were seated after a brief 15 minute wait and were sat at the back of the restaurant which wasn’t very busy. We perused the menu and took a few minutes to make our order.

Cindy ordered the Bagel-Luxe, which was a bagel with lox, capers, cream cheese, diced tomatoes, and white onions. Autumn ordered the Traditional Bene which was an eggs Benedict with turkey and Canadian bacon with home fries. I ordered the Crabcake eggs Benedict with country tots. We also had an order or guava chiffon pancakes and a Cinnamon’s macadamia nut rolls for the table.

Be prepared, the serving sizes are large. The eggs Benedict’s are absolutely great. I’ve tried several crab cake eggs Benedict’s since I’ve had this one and while all are a bit different, this was where it started with me and very different eggs Benedict’s. The food was all delicious. The macadamia nut roll is very unique and almost like a dinner roll in texture, but it’s a great roll that should be tried. The guava chiffon pancakes are unique to cinnamons and were very flavorful. There are several types of unique pancakes, some actually cake like. Try them all.

I like this location for the much easier time getting a seat, but I loved the feel of the other location as it was more homey and it was special since it was our first time trying this place. Either way, the food is fantastic at whichever location you try. It’s a great breakfast spot and you should absolutely check it out.
