This breakfast place was quiet and had a small group of what appeared to be regulars that had their dogs with them as they ate out on the patio. After we ordered, a large flux of people filed in and the place became quite busy and a bit crowded. This cafe was right near Maui Bakery, so I left while Kellyne and Autumn awaited for our order and I went to explore the bakery. I love bakeries, it’s a weakness.

Our food was ready and we met back at our table and sat down to enjoy our breakfast. This cafe had house made bagels, however, I decided to get a Sugar Beach breakfast croissant sandwich, which was their special, instead. Autumn did order a bagel breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel as they’re her favorite. Kellyne got an everything bagel and had them add cream cheese and Nutella to it.

The bagels weren’t super impressive or flavorful, which was disappointing. I had high hopes for the bagels, but was sad to find they weren’t anything special and didn’t have the chew and depth of flavor that I love with a good bagel. My sandwich was fair, but not something I’d order again. My sandwich was sweet, which I knew there would be a sweet maple honey sauce on it, but it was missing something, maybe a bit of spice. They did have a coffee bar that showed a variety of flavored coffees that looked interesting. Autumn did get a coffee which she said was really good, so that was a plus! Otherwise, the breakfast sandwiches were ok, but nothing special.
